electronics is available for 1U and 2U chassis. The slide measures 3/8 in.
wide and 1 1/16 in. high. It can be positioned at the top, middle, or bottom
of the chassis side to leave room for cooling vents, hot swapping, and diagnostic
work. The slide comes with full extension movement plus two inches of over
travel, to provide access to the entire unit. The thin design allows for
flush-return and U-shaped flanges. The slide can carry up to 60 lbs. and
features pinch-free friction disconnect for simplified chassis removal and
insertion. It is available in even lengths from 10 to 30 in. and comes with

stepper motor controllers are working properly. The kit supports all features

Poppet
valves with rotatable inlets

The MAV-2R and MAV-3R poppet valves, which are normally
open and stem operated, have a rotatable side inlet that may be positioned
to align with the outlet, or at any angle through 360 degrees. Both inlet
and outlet are threaded 10-32 female. The 15/32-32 threads provided on the
body may be used for panel mounting with the lockwashers and nut included.
They also may be used to mount accessories such as pushbuttons, cam actuators,
and pilot actuators. The valve's short length and side ports allow for
installation in tight spaces. With its low force to operate and high flow,
it can be used as a panel valve, limit valve, or pilot valve to actuate larger
valves or pneumatic cylinders.

The LVU-1100 ultrasonic noncontact micromeasurement
system uses very small sensor technology to fit into applications where
ultrasonic noncontact systems could not be used previously because the sensor
was too large. The LVU-1100 consists of the transducer and state-of-the-art
microprocessor-based electronics housed in a NEMA 7 explosion-proof enclosure.
The microtransducer has a 3/4-in. NPT mount for ranges from 1 to 12 feet,
and will fit into existing 3/4-in. fittings without retrofitting or
modifications. It will fit into hard-to-reach spaces, such as existing
capacitance system installations. The device features multicontrol function
programming capability with programmable zero, span, and two-alarm setpoints.

easy, cost-effective polymerization of light-curing adhesives and coatings
in a variety of process settings. Complete curing systems for most applications

Alternatively, light source modules may be chosen to mount onto pre-existing
assembly systems. The modules include reflectors, power supplies, shields,
stands, and shutters. Featured are a 9-sq.-in.- wide area, moderate-intensity
flood reflector, a 5-sq.-in. focused flood, and a 1-in. by 6-in. focused
beam reflector. Each reflector may be operated by one of three power supplies.
The light sources are capable of curing most UV adhesives and coatings between

IEC terminal blocks has been expanded to offer more termination points (three-
or four-wire terminations) in a single circuit. The terminal blocks measure
5 mm by 42.6 mm by 59 mm and 6 mm by 41.6 mm by 52.1 mm. They are made with
nickel-plated hardware and stainless steel screws for increased corrosion
resistance. The blocks also include mechanically staked metal parts to ensure
that the system stays wired correctly and to reduce the chances of being
disconnected inadvertently. The new blocks are rated for 600 V ac/dc (UL/CSA)
or 800 V ac/dc (IEC).

from the linear actuator to a spool cartridge that then moves back and forth
to ensure smooth, even take-up lay lines. The material being spooled is paid
off in a straight line from production machinery to take-up reel. Features
and options include auto-reverse, variable pitch, up to 800 lbs. of axial
thrust, and accuracy ranging from ±0.005 in. down to ±0.0004 in.

to move fragile products with a gentle sliding motion. They use a
counter-rotating weight drive system in which the product remains stationary
as it is carried forward and then slides along the tray surface as the drive
reverses its action. Both models use a 1.5-hp or 3-hp variable-speed drive
capable of moving products at 40 ft./min. and have sanitary stainless steel
trays ranging from 12 in. to 24 in. wide and 5 ft. to 30 ft. long. The conveyors
can be suspended overhead or floor-mounted on pedestals. The single drive
unit can be located at either end or under the tray to accommodate limited

Nine new 12 V dc models with relay or dc outputs
have been added to the VersaMax family of micro and nano PLCs. They are designed
specifically for applications requiring low-power control. The VersaMax Nano
is a palm-size PLC with six 12 V dc inputs and four dc or relay outputs,
depending on the model. A built-in RS-232 port supports SNP, Modbus RTU Slave
as well as serial read and write. Two built-in high-speed counters (10 kHz)
provide an easy solution for high-speed applications. Program storage is
2K words of memory. The VersaMax Micro PLC is available in five 12 V dc models:
a 23-point CPU with analog I/O, a 14-point CPU with dc or relay outputs,
and a 28-point CPU with dc or relay outputs. Two new 14-point expansion units
are available. Each model uses up to four expansion units and a maximum of
84 I/O and each contains an RS-232 port. The 23-point and 28-point PLCs also
include an RS-485 port.

Each shim is a stainless steel bolt and bar assembly designed to adjust two

tightening or loosening an adjustment screw until the MicroShim has reached
the desired height. The product has a lifting capacity of 10,000 lbs., and

unit for both wall mount and IEC motor mount installations. According to
the manufacturer, the new drive is a self-contained standard NEMA 4 (IP65)

in hazardous or wash-down environments. The drive can respond to input signal
changes in 5 msec and covers a 0.5- to 3-hp range in an input voltage range
of 380-500 V ac (three-phase configuration). The drive is available with
a built-in RFI filter or without the filter. Features built into the drive
include a dynamic brake chopper, electromechanical brake control, pulse encoder,
and Modbus Serial communications.

The type 5114 power supply/coupler is a low-cost,
single-channel coupler that provides constant current excitation for Piezotron
and other commercially available IEPE low-impedance, voltage-mode piezoelectric

the low impedance output signal. The coupler is powered internally by one
standard 9 V alkaline battery or by an external ac/dc line power adapter.
A large 3.5 digital display with half-inch digits indicates sensor bias voltage
and low battery condition. Frequency response is from 0.07 to 60,000 Hz ±5
percent.

A new lightweight, three-dimensional laser imaging
scanner maps refractory and slag wear in BOF vessels or ladles by portraying
them as dimensionally correct 3-D images. The images can then be used for
frequent analysis of wear while monitoring potential trouble spots. The LMS-Z210
scanner scans a beam along two axes over any field of view. In 30 seconds,
up to 240,000 points can be mapped in the interior. Generating nearly 8,000
measurements per second, the result is a densely populated point cloud of
spatial measurements, yielding an immediate and accurate 3-D representation
of the scene.
