that slows down and ramps up linear speed independently of the drive motor
speed. This is a purely mechanical device for applications that require
deceleration before reversal, then gradual acceleration after reversal.
Bearings inside the drive pivot to decrease or increase speed. The device
is designed to eliminate sudden starts and stops in reciprocating-motion
processes such as winding machines, indexing and sequencing systems, and
cutting and grinding equipment. Features include auto reverse, up to 800
lbs. of axial thrust, and accuracy to within 0.005 in. Periodic light lubrication
of the shaft is the only maintenance required.

borehole pumps is designed for use in water supply, irrigation, lowering
groundwater levels, pressure boosting, and fire protection applications.
Stainless steel pump units handle water with a solids content of 50 grams
per cubic meter. Integrated anti-blockage check valve prevents pipe discharge
when switch is in the off position, avoiding damage due to reverse rotation.
Single- and three-phase canned motors are available. Intermediate bearings
at each pump stage prevent potential shaft misalignment, according to the

The industrial safety networking system
integrates standard mechanical safety devices into most standard PLCs and
higher network levels. A two-wire flat cable carries power and signal to
each safety device, eliminating the need to wire each device back to the
main control cabinet individually. The Safety at Work system comprises a
safety monitor that evaluates the transmission of dynamic code sequences
stored in every safety module and a control platform interface. These translate
safety messages throughout the network. Safety input modules and e-stop
buttons interface with mechanical binary switching components in the field.
During operation, the monitor compares the target sequence with safety module
sequence. The monitor switches to the safe state if safety module provides
a wrong sequence. The system functions with most PLCs. The Safety at Work
system is TUV and BIA approved and rated category 4 according to EN-954-1.

and most sensitive magnetically operated reed switch. The HSR-0025 is designed
to respond to the need for mini-components in used in medical, aerospace,
industrial, electronics, and other applications. Specific applications for

aids, pacemakers and other implantable devices, defibrillators, surgical
instruments, and test/diagnostic equipment. The oval-shaped glass body of
the HSR-0025 switch measures 4.06 mm (0.16 in.) long, 1.22 mm (0.048 in.)
wide, and 0.89 mm (0.035 in.) high.

has re-engineered its Model RG 40 mm rolling ring drives to provide automatic
reversal, without programming or electronics, while traveling at linear
speeds of up to 0.6 m/s (0.6565 yards/second)— more than twice as fast
as previous Uhing 40 mm drives. At linear speeds exceeding 0.6 m/s, the
drives will still automatically reverse without clutches, cams, or gears,
provided the assembly is fitted with a slowdown mechanism that slightly
reduces linear speed before reversal. Previously available only as an option,
Uhing's free movement lever is standard on the new 40 mm drives.
