The new sealed cell available from
ATS RheoSystems/ Reologica Instruments was designed to be application-specific
for the measurement of viscoelastic rheological properties of solutions
above their boiling point without loss of any volatile components. The patented
system allows measurements under pressure with full dynamic oscillation
and viscometric capability. The air-bearing seal is effectively frictionless
and permits very low torque and dynamic oscillatory testing throughout the
frequency range of the rheometer. One of the features of the sealed cell
is the ability to test pastes and semisolid materials at elevated pressures
and temperatures using a parallel plate measuring system. |

Low-profile TO-3 power transistor sockets
are designed to aid installation of Jedec TO-3 MPM power transistors, by
eliminating the need to use insulated bushings. According to the company,
important design elements include a collector strip terminal with 6-20 formed
threads at either end of the socket to permit mounting ease; nylon tops
to accommodate 0.030-, 0.045-, and 0.090-in. chassis thicknesses; and electroplated,
spring brass contacts that accept 0.040- and 0.060-in. pins. Phosphor bronze
and beryllium copper contacts are also available. |

stainless steel fasteners. Producing small-diameter (up to 5/8-in.) parts

300 and 400 stainless steels. These stainless steel fasteners are typically
used in corrosive environments and other environmentally demanding applications.
