A new 26-mm planetary gearhead is claimed to achieve significantly higher performance and lifetime than conventional all-metal gearheads. There are 55 different ratios for speed multiplication or torque reduction, ranging from 3.8:1 to 4,592:1, with efficiencies from 42 to 84 percent depending on the ratio. Maximum continuous torque is up to 2 Nm, or 3 Nm on an intermittent basis. Weights vary from 42 to 94 g, and lengths from 29.2 to 56.4 mm. Ball bearings are used to achieve a maximum radial load of 70 N at 10 mm from flange. Maximum axial load is 100 N. Recommended input speed is less than 8,000 rpm. Operating temperature range is -15° to 80°C. Gearheads are available mounted to the manufacturer's brush or brushless motors, which are also available with encoders.

High-output load cell

The FTR-JR series has 530 mW nominal power and 9.5 mm insulation distance. It provides a dielectric of 5000 V between open contacts and will withstand a surge of 10,000 V between coil and contacts. The series is available in 12-, 18-, and 24-V dc coils and is UL Class B rated (130°C). The 1 Form A relays feature quick-connect TAB contact terminals and cadmium-free contacts with a maximum carrying capacity of 20 A and a maximum switching voltage of 250 V ac (150 V dc).
