Environ- ment controller Divelbiss Corp., Fredericktown, Ohio |
The HEC-1000 harsh environment controller
is based on PLC-on-a-chip technology. This controller allows for programmable
intelligence under less than ideal conditions. It has a sealed, watertight
enclosure with pluggable connectors. The standard enclosure is submersible
to three feet and is screw- and subplate mountable. The HEC-1000 is programmed
using Divelbiss EZ Ladder software, which supports ladder diagram and function
block programming. The HEC-1000 features 12 to 26.4 V dc input power. I/O
includes 10-32 V dc inputs, two 40 kHz high-speed counters, and two 10-bit
resolution 0-20 mA dc analog inputs. Typical industrial use includes control
for engine-driven pumps and compressors, mobile asset management and tracking,
intelligent mining or oil field equipment, conveyor systems, and marine
application. |

| Flow
controls Hoffer Flow Controls Inc., Elizabeth City, N.C. |
The Hoffer CAT Series of flow electronics
is a compact design of flow conditioners, amplifiers, and transmitters for
use in combination with Hoffer turbine flowmeters. This trio of microprocessor-based
devices can provide signal conditioning and amplification, as well as signal
transmission, depending on customer needs. Several enclosure options are
available, including general purpose with and without DIN rail mount, NEMA
explosion-proof, and ATEX-approved explosion-proof. CE-compliant units are
optionally available. The architecture of these units uses a combination
of different circuit boards to create the many different options. |
